1962 shift selector light location

Is there a back ground light bulb that lights up the shifter selector? If so where is it located? I can’t see what gear position it’s in wher dark. Thanks Dave.

There is a flap on top of steering column behind wheel. Carefully pry up and it I’ll pop off 3 screws and you can see light holder
