1962 intake manifold exhaust port routing.

Just got a 62 out of New Mexico. It is a DSO car. Underneath back of original Holley is an uncovered vacuum port on the intake manifold.Where does this get routed? The car will not idle correctly unless you mostly cover it up. If you block it it will shut it down. Thanks for any help! I will try to post pics shortly.
