Hey everyone,
I’m working on my 1962 Thunderbird hardtop and trying to remove the rear power window motors. Both windows are in the up position (motors not functioning since I got the car years ago. I’ve already removed the rear seat and interior panels, and I can see the mounting bolts for the motors—but there’s no clearance to get a ratchet or wrench in there. How has anyone had success getting those nuts off?
Does anyone have a trick or proven method to get those bolts out with the glass stuck up? Do you need a special tool? Can the regulator/motor assembly be removed together somehow?
Appreciate any help or photos from those who’ve done this before.
