Hello folks,
My 62 Tbird convertible was equipped by a previous owner with the roadster-style fiberglas tonneau cover. It was tastefully done and I like the overall look. Unfortunately the rear side edges on both sides do not lay flat. (It doesn't really look as bad as it seems in the pictures; it is way less noticeable when the flip panel/deck lid are in place.)

Is this typical for these covers? Does anyone have any ideas about how to remedy it?
It's something I can live with, but if there is a way to either re-shape the fiberglas or modify the mounting points to lower the edges I would definitely be interested.
Thanks in advance!
