1961 Rear wheel bearing axial play

I just had the both rear wheel bearings replaced. The passenger side has no axial play but the driver side does (see video).
Does this look acceptable to any experienced eyes? Is it due to one side of the differential being the “open” side?
I greatly appreciate any wisdom.
