1957 wheel size and offset

Hi, we’re considering replacing our existing spoked wheels with steel wheels and original style covers. Could anyone give me some info on the offset of the wheels. I’ve checked the internet and have them as 14x5 and 5x4.5 (5x114.3 mm ) but can’t find if there’s any offset. Cheers Lionel

I have seen claims that the backspacing for the 57 is 3.25, 3.5, and 3-9/16. I would bet the 3.5" is the correct one.
The rim size is 14x5.0.
