I have a 28x50 garage under construction with 12 foot side walls. My plan is to put up to 4 four post lifts in it. These will mainly be used for storage. Does anyone have any recommendations? Budget friendly would be nice since I will get the four. When I select a manufacturer I will ask them about recommended concrete floor thickness, but any thoughts here would be appreciated. Thanks, Vern

6-8 inches would be the required thickness to hold the weight of the lift plus car.

A standard residential concrete floor (cast on grade) is 4" over 4" of crushed stone. This is enough to carry a normal car on a four post lift.

Thanks for the advice. My builder will put in 6 inches of high strength concrete over 4 inches of crushed stone. I'm looking into Halo car lifts. Anyone have different ideas?
