Where is the drain plug on my 1957 Thunderbird Fordomatic transmission?

If memory serves right there is no plug. I believe you unscrew the filler tube.

Yes, correct
Remove the nut that secures the dip stick tube/ filler tube on the passenger side of the transmission pan.

There are also drain plugs on the torque converter...
