1. Does the guage cluster aluminum trim (center piece) go on top of or behind the two side pieces?
2. Do the guage trim rings with glass go over the guage cluster aluminum trim?

The gauge cluster aluminum goes on top of the side pieces. The gauge trim rings, and glass go over the gauge cluster aluminum trim. I'm not sure how it was assembled at the factory, but that is how I did it when I refurbished mine.
