Looks like I am going to be in need of a distributor for my 57 D code 312 car. I did not want, if I could avoid it, a newly manufactured one with electronic ignition if I could avoid it. I figured most likely it would be Chinese made, and I did not want to go down the path of the Chinese made fuel pumps. A source for either a rebuilt one, or a rebuildable core I could send in to be rebuilt is what I was hoping for. I was told that using mine as the core is not going to be an option as it will not be rebuildable. I found one advertised on Ebay for $1500, but was not sure if that was a good price or if the part, #FEK-1212-7-C2 would be the one I needed. Appreciate any insight. Thanks
