Measurements on my 56 are 1 1/8" wide for both sides and 1 1/2"high on the heater side from cutout to top of hole and 2" high on the battery side. The distance from the firewall to the middle of holes on both sides is 16". Given the firewall is not a flat surface it depends on where you measure from but at least will give you an idea.
