1955 power window regulator install

I am trying to reinstall the motor and regulator assembly after removing it to replace the rollers. It was easy to remove because it had broken free from the window due to the rollers having disintegrated. I have the window glass inserted and attached to the rear guide but have not been able to find a way to get the regulator arms/rollers into the channels of the window. Perhaps it is necessary to remove the motor from the regulator? Suggestions, please!

I would suggest you remove the rollers from the regulator and slide them in the channel, then line up the regulator arms with the rollers and snap them into the rollers.

Thanks, I will give that a try. Another problem I am having is that the window glass is canted matching the angle of the front door pillar such that the arms and rollers are not square with the window tracks. I've got the pillar adjusted at the most extreme angle possible so it will meet up with the windshield, which it barely does.
