Looking for ideas for a body brace that can easily be built at home. As an example could you brace from the cowl area to the door post at he rear of the door with the door in place? I have a typical two post lift.

I've seen where people use a piece of square channel, maybe 1 x 1 and weld end plates onto it that are shaped and drilled so they can bolt the ends to the place where the door hinges bolt on in the front and where the door latch mechanism bolts at the rear.
