    69’ 429 Thunder Jet keeps overheating

    What’s going on everyone? Having overheating issues with my Bird. It does great on the flats and even in town, but when I hit a hill doing 60MPH or more, the temp gauge starts climbing. New pump & new radiator core this year and I’ve even pulled the thermostat. Any suggestions? Thanks

    1968 Ford Thunderbird 429 Thunderjet

    1968 Ford Thunderbird 4 door with suicide doors, Original 429 Thunderjet motor and original transmission as well. Everything is all original except for the gas tank which is no longer there but there is a replacement in the trunk. Electric windows, sequential turn signals, new tail lights...
