My TBird is new (to me) and I have not yet figured out the significance of the red light that's in its own little raised housing on top of the dash, in the center, near where it meets the windshield. Can't find anything in the manual. Please advise. Thanks.

Welcome Golf....That's the alarm light. You should find that it blinks only when the alarm is set.
Any other Q's just speak up and we'll try to help. BTW what year and color is it?

thanks much

Thanks - should have known and probably would have figured it out eventually. Actually found out today I have a neighbor that was a service manager for Ford for 15 years - he has a black 50th. Mine's an '05 50th, red with black soft top only. Got it around Xmas and enjoying it very much.
