Does anyone know if the oil filler cap is supposed to have an O ring on it?

You will get more responses if your subject summarizes what your post is about. "2002 oil fill cap" could mean anything.

My 02 filler cap has a rubber seal in it, not sure if it is an O ring. Did not want to pry it out.
