wheels on 62 Bird

Put disc brake front and back, took 15 wheels off my 63 galaxy and they hit the caliper's, thought 15 inch would clear. Thanks

Where did they hit the calipers? if on the outer edge of the wheel you would need to go with a bigger wheel. If the inside face of the wheel hit then you need a wheel with less back spacing.. In other words more of the wheel toward the outside of the car..

The inside of the wheel hits the caliper, how would less back space help?
