Rotate tires

We drove to Niagra Falls this week-end. This morning (with 9010 miles on the car) I took it to the dealer for LOF. Then I put it back in storage for the next trip (probably in a month or two) and I got thinking about when am I supposed to rotate the tires. The manual is in the garage and I won't be near it for a while. Anybody know how often the tires are supposed to be rotated? Jim

Took mine down to Michelin and had them look at my tires. They said to rotate every 6,000 miles. Since I take my car into dealership for oil change every 3,000 miles, it will be easy to have the tires rotated every other sevice visit. By the way, Michelin told me they would do it for me free, since I have Michelin tires on the car.
