2003 Degas bottle replace with aluminum

Leaving on an epic 15,000 mi or so road trip later this month. Am replacing plastic coolant with aluminum as I've had a dorman start leaking after a year. Anyone who has done this had any issues?

I ordered and installed one of those and have not had any problems after having so many plastic ones fail. Installed in a 2004 over a year ago.
