'02 Select Shift (SST) Conversion

I ordered an '03 SST shifter assembly, hoping to do the same thing as the LS folks are doing.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will work in the '02 TBird. Mechanically, it looks like it would bolt in, but the shifter connector has wires that don't line up with any wires in the corresponding console connector. These are the wires that detect the + and - shift motions.

I also have ordered the sst shifter to put in my 02. I will see if this is the case. There may be a differnt wiring harnest for the sst.
Let me know if you figure it out. You may be able to get help from the LS people.
 
Do the 02 Trannys support the SST mode? I'm under the impression that the SST trannys in the 03-04 birds are of a different design.
