My 1956 Thunderbird Restoration

My dad bought this Thunderbird new in 1956. He used to race it in the late 1960s.
It has a 426 Hemi in it that he installed in 1969. I gave it a through makeover in 2007.

Could you actually buy a new 56 T-bird without the continental kit?

@[60:mad:mad dog] 99 percent sure it was factory stock on the 1956 model only.

Did you change the offset of the tire to compensate for increased size? I was thinking of going with 17x8 across all four tires, not sure if I should get a wheel with an offset or stick with a 0 offset. Torq thrust II PVD
