Question in regards to wheel offset and lowering springs. 2002 base model.

Hello. I'm thinking of installing Motegi wheels, which fit the OEM except for an offset of 45. I guess this means that the tires will move 1.5 cm outward. I was also thinking of getting lowering springs to lower the car approx 1 inch in the rear, 1.3 in the front.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to lower when using an offset of 45? Trying to avoid surprises like rubbing, etc.

although I can not tell you if it will rub while driving I can say that you will only have aprox 1 inch of travel at about one to two o'clock on fender if the wheels are not turning left or right both front and back. I have 50 series with a 45 offset and measured it(I have 2 inches with no lowering ). that being said the lowering springs will be stiffer so should travel less. parking uneven or hard cornering could possibly result in a rub. I would like the look of lowering but it is too close for me to do and I wont give up my 45 offset
