Looking for recommendation on good match on springs and struts, '97, 4.6

I would like to replace my springs and struts. looking to lower 1-1.5 inches in the springs. I've seen a couple of recommendations on the springs, but not on a good performance set of struts to match them with. While this is my daily driver, I do like to have some fun and don't mind a stiffer (though not super-stiff) ride. Anyone have a suggestion for a good match-up? Would like to keep the budget at $1,000 or less if possible.

Check carid.com I have a 1991 and I got an all new front end including: front sway bar links, all front bushings and control arms, and struts and they were the cheapest. I got the UNITY STRUTS and I have no problems with them
