I have a new to me 66 coupe.
There are two fuel sending units available, with and without low fuel level.
I see no indication of a low fuel indicator.
Where on the dash should I be looking? What am I looking for.
Thank you David

It was an option. Lighted indicators: door ajar, fuel, and the flasher button.

There would be a series of lights just under windshield wiper and vent controls. As was mentioned they were an option called a highway convenience package.

I ended up replacing both tank and sending unit. It had too much settlement in the bottom of the tank. Glad I did it. 53 years of hot and cold will destroy inside of a tank.

As soon as I am sure the sending unit I need, I will replace tank, sending unit, hard lines, fuel pump and rebuild carb (in progress professionally.)

brand new here just purchased a "66" bird still in the shop waiting an expansion tank that should be here Thurs.or Fri.

Just to throw this out there, if your car is a Town Coupe, or a Landau, the "Safety-Convenience Control Panel" is on the headliner, not on the dash as it would be in the base model or the convertible.

Just make sure you get the right one...the connectors to the wiring harness are different. Non warning light has two pins and the one with warning light has three.
