I was watching a youtube video and noticed they had a different "tiptronic" type transmission, mine is different, same 50th anniversary. I looked at the specs and the transmission is standard. I'm confused, what do you have in your car? Should my car have come with this tiptronic style tranny?

Your confusion comes from the transmission position selections. The one that has positions 1,2 &3 is the standard transmission shifter. The shifter that has what some call the "T" or whatever you are calling it is called the SST shifter. This was one of the few options that could be ordered.
The operation of the SST is done by moving the shifter to the right. When in that slot all the driver needs to do tap the shifter forward to up shift or rearward to down shift.
The actual transmission is the same transmission in all the 2002-05 T-Birds
It has been one of Ford's most used longest production transmissions, been around a long time.

The Select Shift Transmission (SST) was a $130.00 option that allowed the driver to select between the transmission's automatic shift mode or the manually selected shift mode. Look at the Driving-Transmission Operation of the owner's manual for a complete description.
