I live in Colorado and have 85, 87 and 91 Octane available (all have Ethanol) What should I run in my 4.2-liter V8 with 8.2:1 compression ratio?

With that compression ratio you should be safe with any of that.
Try the 85 and if it runs good call it a day...

I agree. At that altitude it should run on any of them. If you were closer to sea level you might encounter pinging with the loer octane fuels.
