1965 Thunderbird data plate confusion

Hi, Bit confused with some of my data plate numbers which are 63A 4M 27 25C 71
63A = 2 door hardtop
4 = Body colour ..Frost turquoise
M = I am guessing is white vinyl roof
27= trim colour, turquoise
Why would i have vinyl roof with landau S-Bar.
There is no woodgrain in dash or any other Landau feature.
Thought car was all original, maybe the S-Bar was added later.
Can anyone shed any light.

You're right, probably an add on. Someone liked the look and had the Landau bars installed. If you liked the look when you bought the car just love it as is, it would be a small demerit if being show judged, not worth the cost and effort to remove it.

Thanks for your thoughts Gord...your right i like it just the way it is. The vinyl on roof looks newish, s-bars probably put on then...cheers mate

63A body style is the Hardtop, no vinyl roof. M = Wimbledon White. Someone added a vinyl roof.
