Trying to re-wire everything. Discovered my ignition switch doesn't match up with my full color-easy-to-read ClassicCarWiring diagram. The diagram shows 4 terminals S, AM, C, and AC. My switch (see photo) shows BAT, ACC, ST, and IGN. Do I have the correct switch? If not, I'll order one. In the meantime, can someone match up the two labels for me?20070101_01_20.JPG

When you post to the forums, your subject should summarize what your post is about. "1957 ignition switch" could be anything, selling one, buying one etc. I will revise it.

Batt = AM
ACC= AC
IGN = C
ST = S
Looks like an aftermarket part
from the back side it looks like an original
if it fits into the dash properly
It should work
