Hello. I'm a new owner of a 1957 Thunderbird but not new to classic cars. My transmission fluid level is a tad low but in all of the threads about checking the fluid level (using Dex III, operating temperature, while engine is at idle, etc) I have found no where that states WHERE the fluid is to be added. My '57 Buick gets poured down the dipstick tube and my '49 Cadillac has a panel under the carpet in the front seat that exposes a cap. I do see a seam in the carpet to the right of the shifter but before I go tearing into something, I figured it would be better to ask. Thanks for any help and I have appreciated reading these forum topics the last few days as I learn about my new acquisition.
