Thunderbird 1969 - missing plug

Hello,

I have started working on my t-bird, and I have noticed that some kind of plug on motor from cooling system is missing. Maybe somebody have some pictures of drawigs what to look for. All cooling fluid is draining...

Low position, just above sump (I think...)

You sure it’s not a freeze plug? Because they can rust out and leak. It does look pretty rusty in those pictures of yours. And there isn’t any cooling lines down below on the passanger side. The heater core lines run along the top over the head, not below it. Check and see if the freeze plugs haven’t failed.
 
...maybe Somebody can tell mi the diameter of the plug? I do not know how to look for it...
 
The 429/460 are the same block. Look for freeze plugs for them. I don't know the diameter.
 
So I have install new plug - diameter is 38mm,
And for 10 minutes it was promissing - after that second one have failed...
Of course now it is one under engine cushion...

Yup... that usually happens. You might as well change them all. They are probably old and either rusted or worn out so the pressure is going to blow out each one that is weak. May as well change the motor mount as well if you have to remove them.
