My wife an I looked for a 55 Bird for two years and never found anything in salmon color with white removable hardtop. I am tall and had a problem with getting in. A friend ran a Ford Dealership and called with this car on the floor with 7 miles. Bought it Jan 1st 2002 and left it on the show floor until May when we picked it up. My wife decided on nice days she would drive it to the Honda garage where she worked and I could have it on weekends. She passed away in 07 and can not sell the car. It has 61,000 miles and just started to leak oil.

I hope there are other on this site! I own a rubber company and export international. 70 and still love the office and meeting my clients.
