Does anyone have a suggestion for what to use to pad the crown emblem (PN 25662) that is placed behind the hashmarks on the front fenders? Mine had some type of putty behind the emblem that I believe was installed when the car was manufactured. One of the Thunderbird parts vendors offers what looks like a small felt square as a pad. At $.54 the price is reasonable but I object to the $13.00 shipping.

As far as I know, None of the emblems had gaskets. Only the handles & trunk lock, however a trimmed piece of gasket material available at any parts store would suffice if you want.
