1965 Steering has a squeak noise

I replaced the steering box on my 65, since then it has a squeak noise when I turn the wheel. Does anyone have any answers for this problem?

Have you checked the level of oil in the power steering reservor

Yes the belt is tight and the fluid let is full.

New owner here, but I had the same issue. Mine went away after a few lock to lock turns to bleed the system. double check fluid after....might take a couple of tries.

It may be that internal seals have become hardened. You could try an additive to soften up the seals. Lucas makes a good product.
