I understand P185/75R14 is the stock size.
What's a known-good plus-zero size?
Does anyone use P195/70R14?
Or a P205?

If you go much wider than 185 are you going to
have trouble fitting the stock rims?
Will the tire hit the suspension or well on wide turns?
Thanks in advance.

I have a 5.0 '82 Bird with 79.+ thousand original mile's I'm o.k. with the car even though it jumped time.

have 215/70r/14 on my 1980 towne landau, fills the space in the wheelwells nicer, doesn't rub on anything, seems to work fine

I used 215/70/14's on my '85 Thunderbird, and Mustang 5.0 15 inch wheels fit nicely as well. I believe a 215 on front and a 235 on the back will be fine.
