P.s. what rims are on your car @RevRuss ?
Congrats you are the photo of the week! @RevRuss
Wonderful pictures ! Gorgeous car !
Sorry, misread. I thought there was only one. I got so carried away.... where are some of those cars ?
That has to be one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. So what ever happened to it?
Love the pictures !
That's a stunning car !
they are off the shelf wheels, no special offset.
Sorry just starting to figure out how the forum works and finding past posts. Much easier on my computer. What is the offset you went with on the front tires?
Did you change the offset of the tire to compensate for increased size? I was thinking of going with 17x8 across all four tires, not sure if I should get a wheel with an offset or stick with a 0 offset. Torq thrust II PVD
@tbird Thanks for reminding me. Done!
@sanfranvolley make sure you add details about your car, i.e. year and anything else you want to share.
1960 and 65. My car is the 65
Hi, Love the small tail fins! Where did you get them? Are they 3-M taped on or screwed on? My T-Bird is posted as of Oct 2015 - Larry's Retro Bird.
@Seb what years are the cars?
The continental kit on this bird was removed.
@mad dog 99 percent sure it was factory stock on the 1956 model only.
Could you actually buy a new 56 T-bird without the continental kit?
Mad Dog in Seattle
More picture later
Thanks! Those wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust series. Fronts are 17x8, rear are 17x10
Gorgeous restoration. I love the chrome rims, what are they? I have a '55 and want to replace the original tires/caps with chrome but have not found anything I like yet.

@tbird Ok will do! I added photos to my other album. I would recommend sampling from both albums
Thanks for sharing! Can you add more photos of your car too? I will share your car next week.
To many eyes the 1957 Thunderbird is the most attractive of the first edition Thunderbird. But I have always preferred the 1956 Thunderbird. Your beautiful car is proof that '56 rules!
