Thanks! Those wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust series. Fronts are 17x8, rear are 17x10
Gorgeous restoration. I love the chrome rims, what are they? I have a '55 and want to replace the original tires/caps with chrome but have not found anything I like yet.
Car is beautiful. I love the chrome rims, what are they? I have a '55 and want to replace the original tires/caps with chrome but have not found anything I like yet.
@tbird Ok will do! I added photos to my other album. I would recommend sampling from both albums
Thanks for sharing! Can you add more photos of your car too? I will share your car next week.
To many eyes the 1957 Thunderbird is the most attractive of the first edition Thunderbird. But I have always preferred the 1956 Thunderbird. Your beautiful car is proof that '56 rules!
Just updating the pics....
Your car is a beauty..Mine is color Gold, however, for some unknown reason I like the color red...Nice pics!!
Thanks for adding! You are the photo of the week!
My Red 2003 Bird
That's great but I have to take my computer in to have the pictures down loaded and put in to my new computer . Sorry I would have loved it,maybe later if we could. Again Thank you.
Do you have any more photos of your car? If so Add them here because I'm adding your car as the photo of the week! @tony millholen
She's a beauty, alright! Love those wire wheels, are they Kelsey's?
Love your car, it's the photo of the week, going out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and newsletter today! @EdV Feel free to add more photos to your gallery if you have them!
I rotated your photos for you. FYI click edit, then rotate. Thanks for sharing!
I'm going to paint a Thunderbird over the top with the wings down the sides and maybe it's claws killing something just above the fenders
Thought about how to build this reciever hitch for a long time, I think I nailed it
Here you go.
Awesome, do you have anymore photos you can share? @sirrahnor ?
Cool! Do you have anymore photos you could post @Bobbyjim ?
Love the windscreen, where did you purchase?
@57 bluebird I'm going to make your photo the photo of the week, so if you have any other photos to upload here, please do so!
Thank you so much for considering my photos for your Facebook / Instagram page! Ok, I just uploaded some more photos. I'll add more if I find some! Thanks again!
@55TbirdAri make sure you upload some more photos, I will feature your car on facebook/instagram in coming weeks! Thanks for sharing.
An exceptional restoration that. Having spent 5 years and 40k USD to restore my own 57, I wonder how much Max had to spend on this job?
That is one beautiful bird!!!
Love it! the front grill just gives it that "mean" look coming down the road
Thanks, my son and I are restoring both of them. Started with the Town Landau. We are replacing the top and headliner right now. Got everything removed starting on sanding top and getting ready to primer it. Interior is all out and the windshield. After we get that done then we'll tackle some minor bodywork on the 428 car.
I am jealous of that 428!!!
Also have the 390 Cali Special
Great looking car.
I posted up some pics in an album. Good luck on the power windows - My drivers side ended up being one of those surprises. Finally ended up direct wiring that window to the battery. if I put it all the way up, it always got stuck no matter what I replaced.
Thanks Silversurfer. My next big project is power windows, originals are to far gone and I have tried everything to fix them but I guess I have to break down and buy the over priced motors from larry'so. I would like to see the pics you have, I have tried to find a 66 around here to see how things go back together but no luck yet.
Wow! I have to get all my pics together of my 66's re-birth. You did an awesome job. Love to compare notes sometime. The vacuum lines were a pain but it was cutting edge technology back in 66 (-:
