Jeffrog

My 66 project

Yogi Dave
Jeffrog . . . hats off to you! This looks major! My first car was a '66 TBird (back in the last millennium). It was 5 years old when I bought it, right out of high school. That car was way ahead of its time. We drove that car from one end of this country to the other. The only trouble I had with it was some weird intermittent electrical issues. Kudos for taking on this project. Keep the pic's coming!

Thanks Dave and I will keep posting them. No gonna be perfect but it is a labor of love.

Wow! I have to get all my pics together of my 66's re-birth. You did an awesome job. Love to compare notes sometime. The vacuum lines were a pain but it was cutting edge technology back in 66 (-:

Thanks Silversurfer. My next big project is power windows, originals are to far gone and I have tried everything to fix them but I guess I have to break down and buy the over priced motors from larry'so. I would like to see the pics you have, I have tried to find a 66 around here to see how things go back together but no luck yet.

I posted up some pics in an album. Good luck on the power windows - My drivers side ended up being one of those surprises. Finally ended up direct wiring that window to the battery. if I put it all the way up, it always got stuck no matter what I replaced.
