My dad bought this Thunderbird new in 1956. He used to race it in the late 1960s. <br /> It has a 426 Hemi in it that he installed in 1969. I gave it a through makeover in 2007.

    @mad dog 99 percent sure it was factory stock on the 1956 model only.

    The continental kit on this bird was removed.

    Did you change the offset of the tire to compensate for increased size? I was thinking of going with 17x8 across all four tires, not sure if I should get a wheel with an offset or stick with a 0 offset. Torq thrust II PVD
