Album: Max Weinberg's 1957 Ford Thunderbird

Exceptional D-Code 1957 Ford Thunderbird. This car has received a complete nut-and-bolt restoration and is finished in Dusk Rose with a Colonial White removable porthole hardtop with white interior. The restoration was done in the early 2000s and is meticulously documented with a collection of binders and photo albums showing the restoration and receipts. The car has won numerous prestigious regional and national awards. The trophy collection is included.

The 312-cid, 245-hp Thunderbird Special V-8 engine was an optional upgrade; and the automatic is the transmission of choice. The engine resides in a well-turned-out bay and the underside is equally orderly. Additional equipment includes power steering and brakes, soft-top, tonneau cover, Town & Country radio, factory wheel covers and BF Goodrich whitewall tires.
Mr. Weinberg had disc brakes installed for safety, which is allowed in competitions, plus the car has new radial tires. Original books and factory brochures add to the huge amount of documentation and history that come with this car. It has been fastidiously maintained since the restoration and we would consider among the best 1957 Thunderbirds.

Max Weinberg, or Minister of the Big Beat, is an iconic American drummer and television personality, most widely known as the longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and as the bandleader for Conan O'Brien on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Max is a passionate automobile enthusiast and the choices in his collection come from a lifetime of emotional automotive connections. Purchasers of cars from this collection will be invited for photographs with Max and the car.

Body Style: Convertible
Trans: Automatic
Engine: V8 312-cid, 245-hp
Mileage: 25308

An exceptional restoration that. Having spent 5 years and 40k USD to restore my own 57, I wonder how much Max had to spend on this job?
