Album: 1959 Ford Thunderbird- Auction 11/8/2017

This 1959 Ford Thunderbird was originally purchased in Alberta, Canada and was relocated to British Columbia in 1998. It was purchased by the seller’s Grandfather two years ago, with 500 miles added since. Repainted once in 1994, it features a 352ci V8 with a Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission and is reported to run and drive well. Recent work performed includes an oil change with new power steering lines and actuator. This Thunderbird is sold with all recent service records and a clean British Columbia title in the seller’s grandfather’s name.<br /> <br /> Believed to have been stored indoors for several years with little use, the car was repainted in the original shade of Colonial white in 1994. The bumpers look nice and may have been re-plated. Some trim pieces have minor pitting and the driver’s door lock cover is missing.<br /> <br /> Period modifications include Kelsey-Hayes style wire wheels with wide whitewalls and a Continental kit.<br /> <br /> The 352ci V8 produces 300hp and is coupled with a Ford Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The seller reports that it runs and drives well and all electrical accessories work. Service records from the current ownership are available.
