The other day I heard this remark; everyone knows what porn is, except nine people, they are Supreme Court Judges.
I suppose they can change that to five now, this was in the paper today, 6-29-04.

The U.S. Supreme Court today blocked enforcement of a law intended to protect children from pornography on the Internet, saying the law probably violates free-speech guarantees. By a 5-4 vote, the high court said 1998 legislation "likely violates the First Amendment."

What she said...not too seriously

yeah, but children dont have any rights, so are we discussing a childs right to see porn, or others right to show it to them? honestly, i think if a kid sees porn, then he has a right to know what it is, and if that doesnt fit a parents "bird and bees" planning, then so what, name one predictable aspect of parenting, and i can name a 1000 unpredictable. besides, if handled properly, any child can understand what they see. after all, its not like its alien or anything. ive had to explain porn to several children, and each time i was able to explain it in a way the child understood and was less disturbed by. now dont even get me started on the FCC and "bad words" . well, sorry for the inane ranting, ill try to make future outbursts a little shorter...

The hedge put up around this country by God is coming down...... Why should stuff like "In God we trust" be removed? Makes no sense. This country was founded by Christians which is documented in history by quotes from Adams, Franklin and many many more. THat's the reason why all that stuff is on the money, and was put on the courthouses to begin with. DUH.

If people that founded the country put it there, why should it be changed?
