1088 5.0 Explorer/GT40 non-EGR upper & lower intake

I recently came across a steal on an upper and lower intake for my 88 5.0 TBird, however it is from a 98 Explorer that does not have the inlet for EGR. Is it possible to still use the GT40 upper and lower intake, and just delete the EGR altogether? If it is, how would I go about doing that?
